This ride is for those who are interested in a Cultural Escape - it's all about stopping at the peculiarities, exploring historical sites, enjoying a relaxing stop for a coffee and butter tart, and taking all day to get from point A to B because there are just so many things to stop for and enjoy! We will ride from Port Union in Toronto, Ontario to Montreal, Quebec where we will cheer on the cycling stars of today! |
DAY ONE: ROUGE HILL GO STATION to Port Hope

Ride Description:
We will begin our day with introductions and luggage being loaded in to the van before beginning our day, conversing, oohhhing, and aahhhing as we hug the shores of Lake Ontario along the bike paths of Durham before rolling on to the quiet country roads.

DAY TWO: Port hope to kingston

Ride Description:
We begin our ride in to the historical loyalist towns and landmarks with cute storefronts in Brighton, Bloomfield, and Picton, many places to stop for treats, and expect to spend some time in the infamous Bloomfield Bike Shop.

DAY THREE: kingston to BROCKVILLE

Ride Description:
All of your elevation gain will be met leaving Kingston today, but expect your heart rate to slow as you admire the woodworking carvings and other fun pieces dotting the road enticing you to stop and catch your breath.

DAY FOUR: BROCKVILLE TO CORNWALL

Ride Description:
So many places to stop and explore today! Have your walking shoes handy as you step back in time to learn what it was like to live in a fort or be a pioneer. Prepare to meet the people who lived in the 1800s with opportunities to touch and feel a part of their history.

DAY FIVE: CORNWALL TO MONTREAL
SEPTEMBER 25

Ride Description: Our route will take us through quaint Quebec towns, beautifully landscaped urban gardens, quiet country roads, and tree lined bike paths as we get closer to the second largest city in Canada. We anticipate that there will be a Cyclosportif, or Granfondo, today in Montreal, so expect some excitement as you enter our final destination and be on the lookout for the biggest names in the sport.

DAY EIGHT: Cheer on the racers
SEPTEMBER 26

Ride Description:
Today we will cheer on the Elite Women as they contest the rainbow stripes. Canadian Magdeleine Valliers became the first elite Canadian to win a road World Championship title in 2025 and she will be extra motivated to perform in her home province in 2026. Be ready to lose your voice as we watch these amazing women tackle the streets of Montreal.

DAY NINE: CHEER ON THE RACERS
SEPTEMBER 27

Ride Description: Today we will cheer on the Elite Men as they race over 273 km in pursuit of a World Championship title. Grab your noise makers and scout out a seat at a pub where you are guaranteed to meet new friends from around the world. With the race on home soil expect all the big Canadian names to be in the fight.

DAY TEN: DEPARTURE

The PT Cycling team will drive your bikes back to Toronto or Oakville as you catch a flight, take the train, or arrange a drive. Athletes are responsible for their own return transportation.
